What to expect

How the program works

Signing up is simple, and there is no mystery to what we do once you do. You send us your yard details, we give you a plan and a price, and if it works for you we get you on the schedule. The first visit sets up the yard, and every 21 days after that we come back and keep it down. Here is the whole thing, start to finish, so you know exactly what you are getting.

Step 1: You reach out

Use the quote form or email us. Tell us your city, rough lot size, where the problem is worst, and anything special: dogs, chickens, a vegetable garden, bees, a water feature, a party coming up. The more you tell us, the more accurate the plan. There is no cost and no obligation to get a quote.

Step 2: We give you a plan and a price

We look at what you sent, sometimes ask a question or two, and get you a real number for your property. We will tell you honestly whether you need the core mosquito program or whether add-ons like tick or flea control make sense for your yard. No pressure, no upsell on things you do not need.

Step 3: The first visit sets up the yard

This is the most thorough visit of the season. We walk the whole property and map it: where mosquitoes are resting, where water is collecting, where the sensitive zones are that we should avoid. Then we do three things. We knock out the standing water we can reach. We treat the resting harborage with the botanical barrier. And we place the In2Care stations in the shaded, protected spots where egg-laying females go. You will usually notice the biting drop within a few days.

Step 4: The 21-day cycle

Every 21 days through the season we come back. Each visit we refresh the barrier on the harborage, service and re-bait the In2Care stations, dump any new standing water, and check for anything that has changed, a new drainage issue, a neighbor's pool gone green, a spot that needs more attention. You do not need to be home as long as we have gate access and dogs are inside. We leave a note when we are done.

The reason it is 21 days and not monthly is simple: in valley summer heat, mosquitoes breed fast and botanical products break down honestly rather than lingering for weeks. Three weeks is the interval that keeps you ahead of the population without over-treating. Stretch it out and the mosquitoes find the gap.

Step 5: The season builds

Here is the part that surprises people. Organic control gets better over the first month or two, not worse. The barrier gives you fast relief up front, and then the In2Care stations grind down the breeding cycle over the following weeks, so the whole yard settles into a lower and lower level of pressure. By mid-season a well-run yard is somewhere you stop thinking about mosquitoes at all. That is the goal.

When to start and when to stop

The ideal start is early spring, March or April, before the first big hatch, because getting the stations in place before breeding peaks is far easier than chasing the population in July. But we start yards all season, and even a mid-summer start pulls a bad yard back within a couple of cycles. Most programs run through October, tapering as the nights cool and the mosquitoes fade for the year. We will talk with you about the right window for your property and your tolerance.

What we ask of you

Not much, but a little help goes a long way. Keep gates accessible on service days and dogs inside. Between visits, tip out standing water when you see it, since you are in the yard daily and we are there every three weeks. Tell us right away if the biting picks up or something changes. And give the program the first couple of cycles to build before you judge it. Do that and you will get a yard you can actually enjoy.
